The Effect
Working in partnership with the SEAwise research team, we are the lead communications partner for the project, and an integral driving force behind the project’s public, academic, policy, and fisheries stakeholder dissemination.
We support SEAwise’s multi-national research team in distilling key messages and translating the complexities of fisheries science into impactful summaries, policy briefs, and press releases for a global audience.
As a trusted partner we are also co-developing an accessible Ecosystem Based Fisheries Management (EBFM) tool, which is currently being trialled and reviewed by the European Union’s Advisory Councils, with workshops across Europe.
Acting as a go-to hub for the project’s published results and outputs, we spearheaded development of, and maintain the SEAwise website. Penning and sharing weekly socials on SEAwise channels, developing visually inspiring infographics and engaging videos, and with a regular drumbeat of project messages we have cemented the project’s position as an authoritative voice on EBFM. With the project’s close in 2025, we are busy supporting organisation of a celebratory and impactful symposium to be held in Brussels this summer.
